The B.I.Z.

In 2022, the Horizon City Economic Development Corporation(HEDC) launched the Business Innovation Zone (The BIZ) as the premier center for economic development in the greater Horizon City area. Before the establishment of the BIZ, residents of Horizon City had to seek funding and business services outside the city. To better support the growing community of entrepreneurs and business owners in Horizon City, the HEDC, in partnership with Workforce Solutions Borderplex and Project Vida, established a dynamic, multi-organizational business office within the city. This office provides residents and business owners with access to comprehensive market data, real estate location assistance, business plan development, employee recruitment services, and financial resources. Additionally, The BIZ offers training and networking workshops designed to benefit the local community.
